NAPLES PHOTOGRAPHER Jun04

NAPLES PHOTOGRAPHER

As a Naples photographer, I get to work with a lot of amazing clients. This gorgeous girl is no different. Meet Kristina. Kristina came to me and had a very specific idea of how she wanted her senior portraits to look. She asked for them to be simple and neutral – going so far as to request a white background for most of them. She sent me some images she had seen on the Internet that stood out to her and the common denominator was that they were clean and modern and focused solely on the subject. I did some location scouting to come up with a white backdrop (without having to be inside a studio). In the process, I found this building… We had amazing lighting on this particular day and with that white building being such an automatic reflector it was a match made in heaven. This delicious environment lasted for all of 20 minutes – before a massive downpour came from our of nowhere. Ugh! Florida weather at its finest. Talk about a stunning smile. Such a gorgeous girl! When the rain decided to start pouring down on us, we ultimately had to make an executive decision to cancel the remainder of the session and reschedule it. We shot the 2nd part of her session on a different day and thankfully we had much better luck when it came to the rain. Kristina will be attending YALE UNIVERSITY this Fall to begin her journey into college. How awesome that she’s attending Yale! I encouraged her to go ahead and bring that “Y” sweater with her when she put together the wardrobe ideas for her shoot. Kristina graduated from The Community School of Naples here in Florida just last week. I was able...

SENIOR DESTINATION PHOTOGRAPHER Apr29

SENIOR DESTINATION PHOTOGRAPHER

SENIOR DESTINATION PHOTOGRAPHER {Naples and Las Vegas} Many of you know that I recently announced that I was excited to entertain the idea of being a senior destination photographer. Angie Seaman Photography is now offering Senior destination shoots across the country and abroad. As a senior destination photographer, I’ll be traveling to different cities and states to capture epic one of a kind senior portraits for you. In order to promote that offering, myself, my hair and make-up artist, Janea Soliven of JA Make-Up Artistry, my oldest son, and his girlfriend all flew out to Las Vegas to shoot the promo images and the behind the scenes videos for the senior destination options. Sophia, my sons girlfriend of a year and a half, was our model for the shoots. They’ll both be seniors next year so this was a perfect time to capture her. We began the first day of shooting up in the the desert mountain side within the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. I’ve been to Vegas several times and shot in the desert each time we’re there. However, I had never been to the Valley of Fire before so this was real treat for me. To say that this place is beautiful would be a massive understatement. I couldn’t get over the continual beauty as I looked around me. The red rock formations in the Valley of Fire are so incredibly ornate and every square inch leaves a new location to discover. I could’ve spent days in there. Literally days – and never gotten bored. The head piece that you see in these images was made especially for this shoot to match the parachute dress I had her wear. We used the parachute for part of the shoot and then we removed it for the rest. Either way, she was stunning! And boy did we have some endless laughs during this trip. The fun just never stopped! We had special access to the park on this particular day so the areas where we shot were closed off to everyone except us. We felt pretty special to say the least. 🙂 I loved the Valley of Fire so much that we’ll be definitely going back there this coming Spring when I go back to Las Vegas for our annual WPPI industry conference. If you or someone you know is interested in having their senior photography session shot in Las Vegas, you know where to find me. We’re taking a limited number of seniors back with us for the next trip. Our Las Vegas shoot consisted of three different locations so I’ll be breaking these blog write ups into 3-5 different posts over the next week or two. There are just too many amazing images to share all in one post. I wanted to start with the Valley of Fire images because that was our day one. I can’t wait to share the other shoot locations with all of you and the images from those spots. We had an absolute blast and I can’t wait to share these same experiences with other seniors that are interested in the destination sessions as well. HAIR AND MAKE-UP And a HUGE thank you again to Janea for coming along with us on this crazy journey to do the hair and make-up for our senior sessions. Her work is incredible and I think these images prove that. We love you Janea! Thank you for joining me on the first of many to come senior destination photography trips. XOXO,...

CAPTURING FAMILY Naples Photographer Feb28

CAPTURING FAMILY Naples Photographer...

CAPTURING FAMILY I absolutely loved shooting with this family! I love capturing family images because I know that they’ll be treasured far into the future by many individuals – not just the ones featured in the shot. They were such a fun bunch and we had an incredibly beautiful night for their session. This was an extended family from the East coast who was in town for vacation together. We shot the session on the North end of Marco Island which is always a beautiful area. I loved how the colors of their wardrobe went so perfectly against the sunset that evening. The entire family was such a happy bunch and their smiles all confirm that. I laughed and laughed while working with them. I love leaving a session when my jaws ache from the smiles and the laughter Each extension of their immediate family went with the flow and were complete naturals in front of the camera. The adult siblings actually purchased this session for their mother as a Christmas gift. What a thoughtful gift to give! It’s the gift that will keep on giving for years and years to come. Generation after generation can enjoy and treasure these images. Many times we stress about what to give a loved one for a holiday gift, birthday celebration, or even something as simple as a Valentine’s Day gift idea. A portrait session will always be a great idea in regard to ranking up there with the best gifts ever. Women may initially stress about having a session done but in the end, the final result will be a gift that means the world to them. Same with men. Men may not always consider a portrait session an event that they want to partake in....

SOPHIA FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER Feb17

SOPHIA FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

SOPHIA – FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER Many of you might recognize this gorgeous girls face as that of my oldest sons girlfriend. Sophia. So-So as my younger children like to commonly call her in our house. Brennen and Sophia have been dating for almost a year and a half now so she’s like an extension of our family. We all adore her. My own parents adore her. She’s definitely a positive addition to our crazy family. Thank goodness she doesn’t hold our craziness against us. 🙂 I had been dddyyyiiiinnngggg to have Sophia in front of my lens since the day I first met her. However, my son always detests when his friends or girlfriends become “clients” of mine. He knows by becoming a client, we form a bond that is hard to break. He also hates having me up in his space – loving on his peeps – and them loving on me right back. As a teen, a mom who works in a field where she’s in front of your friends a lot or shooting your varsity high school football games – on the sidelines with your teammates and such – I’m sure it becomes quite irritating. I try to respect that and appreciate it from his point of view. Therefore, with Sophia…I never pushed. They both knew I was here – armed and waiting – if she ever wanted to do a session with me. Brennen finally caved and they told me one day that he was “granting permission.” I was like a giddy little school girl. You can see why. My camera is obsessed with So-So. The one thing I love about this shoot with her is that we captured Sophia. Truly her. I love how she shows up at my home in her converse, ripped jeans and a plain tee on most days. She isn’t one that is running around as a teenager in overly skimpy clothes. I commend her for that – especially in today’s era. I see so many teen girls half dressed anymore and it’s especially bad in my line of work. Thankfully, Sophia is secure with herself and can rock a pair of jeans a white tee like nobodies business. But then there are those moments when she throws on a dress and heels and you’re like…Woah! Even then though. She’s classic. Simple. Modest. Absolutely stunning! And her eyebrows. OMG! I’m 40 years old and so extremely jealous of her brows. It’s so not fair!!! She has a smile that is out of this world and she loves my son. We love her around these parts. Like a lot! In fact, my special needs daughter, who is 12 years old…pretty much thinks that Sophia hung the moon. Literally. We love Sophia like one of our own and we love how she loves on our children. Not just my firstborn – as his girlfriend – but also how she loves on our other three kiddos too. Brennen picked a true gem with So-So. She’s gorgeous inside and out. If you or someone you know is looking for a senior photographer in the Southwest Florida area or would like to have Angie Seaman Photography travel to you in another state, you know who to call. Not only do I offer local photography in our area (Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, Cape Coral, Ft. Myers, or Sanibel Island, Florida), I also travel to you or to destination areas like LA, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, etc. for senior destination shoots. Give me a call to discuss how we can plan an epic senior shoot for this chapter of your life. Sophia’s hair and make-up by Janea Soliven of J&A Make-Up Artistry We <3 you So-So! XOXO,...

SARAH {MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER} Feb10

SARAH {MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER}

Let’s talk about this gorgeous girl. Even though she’s not from here, we still shot her session here in Naples, Florida near the Marco Island, Florida area of town. As a senior photographer, I embrace out of state clients and local senior clients here in Florida as well. Seriously. Could she be any more perfect? Like really. Not only is she stunning but she’s from my hometown. Indiana. A Hoosier. I love that! Love me some fellow Indy peeps. Oh…and on top of all that. She’s also a photographer. Yeah! I told you she was awesome! 🙂 We shot Sarah’s session during Christmas/New Years. She came down all the way from Indiana and we spent several hours documenting her amazing self in a few different locations around town. Can we also just take a minute to talk about this girls hair??? So.Not.Fair. Like with all of my other senior clients, Janea Soliven, of JA Make-Up Artistry is our H&MUA for my shoots. She did a fabulous job with Sarah. Her hair and make-up suits Sarah perfectly and leaves her with a natural and clean look that highlights her already amazing features. We finished up Sarah’s session at the beach. I had a blast working with Sarah and had an even better time unboxing all of her senior imagery that she ordered from her actual shoot. I was like a kid at Christmas time when it all arrived. Sarah, thank you for allowing me to document this chapter of your life. You’re a true stunner and I can’t wait to see where these next few years take you. And when I’m home next time, we need to plan a day to just go out and shoot for fun while there in good ol’ Indy. I appreciate you sending me the images of downtown Indianapolis to help aide in my homesick mentality. It always helps to feel a bit closer to home by way of images. XOXO!...

WHEN TOMORROW ISN’T PROMISED…{Naples Florida Family Photographer} Jan14

WHEN TOMORROW ISN’T PROMISED…{Naples Florida Family Photographer}...

If there was ever a day that the value of photography was confirmed for me…that day is today. As a professional photographer, I know with my whole heart how important photography is. But today…today it’s running through my veins like never before. Some of you will recognize the above family session from me having shared their sneak peek images on my social media accounts last month. And many of you will recognize that beautiful blonde senior who is 2nd from the left – next to her dad – as my client and ASP’s senior cover girl model for 2016, Alexis. When I met Alexis, I instantly fell in love with her after scouring her social media accounts. I fell in love with her love for her family. In all of the images on her instagram account, there were more than the norm for a teenager of her family. Her Dad, her brother, mom and sister were strewn throughout her account like a teen would share their best friends. In several of the captions, I saw where she had listed her dad, her mom, or her brother as indeed…her “best friend.” Her openly professed and extreme love for her family members is one of the reasons why I chose her as the senior cover girl model for this year. I’m a huge Daddy’s girl myself so her love for her dad especially resonated deeply with me. Since making her our cover girl, I’ve shot with her several times. In the process of those shoots…I’ve fallen more in love with her and her whole family as well. One of our most recent times together was last month when her Mom, Kimberly, hired me to shoot their family images. She worked tirelessly to assure that all of their...

COVER GIRL {NAPLES FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER} Dec11

COVER GIRL {NAPLES FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER}

After months upon months of searching for the face that I wanted to represent Angie Seaman Photography for our high school senior division, I finally found her. Meet Alexis. As a photographer for senior high school students here in Naples, Florida…I run across some absolutely stunning girls. Florida doesn’t run short on beautiful beachy-esque teens. I searched high and low – not only interviewing faces for the 2016 ASP Cover contest but also scouting hours and hours of social media accounts. Out of all the girls who entered, Alexis not only had the face but she had a clean social media account that portrayed the heart and soul of what we feel best represents Angie Seaman Photography’s brand. Many had the face but what was discovered on their social media accounts when I went digging, left me saddened. Alexis’ account was clean, upbeat, showed love beyond the norm for her family members, and was just fun in general. When I envision who I’d like to see representing my brand over this next year, I couldn’t have found a better girl. And then there are those eyes again. They just suck you right in. And she does it all so effortlessly. I would’ve killed to look like this as a senior in high school. She is just stunning! And Janea of JA Make-Up Artistry, my hair and make-up artist that I use for all of my client shoots, totally nailed her look. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime when it comes to capturing the beauty of my already gorgeous clients. Janea knows that I do not like my seniors to look “done up” or totally different from who they really are. She knows that I like her to just enhance those amazing features that are already present with my clients. And boy does she do it well! Love ya Janea! Alexis can carry so many different looks. The girl couldn’t take a bad image if she tried. She just recently moved here from South Carolina and has been pursuing modeling agencies in the Miami area. Her Mom asked if we could shoot some of her modeling images at the beach once we completed the senior portion of her shoot. So off we went. And boy did she nail her beach images as well. We had a gorgeous summer evening that night too which was nice considering how we have a lot of rainy evenings during our summer months here in Southwest Florida. Needless to say, Alexis didn’t need much posing or direction during her shoot. She appeared as though she’d been doing this for years. I’m extremely excited to work with Alexis again as we round out the school year for our 2016 cover model.  You’ll be seeing a llllooootttttttt more of Alexis in the months to come as she’ll be the face of my marketing and will carry out shoots that best reflect ASP’s unique style. Graduating seniors for the class of 2016…now is your time. Don’t let the school year end without having had your senior imagery taken. It’s a mistake you’ll always regret if you do. I...

NAPLES FLORIDA BEACH PHOTOGRAPHER Oct11

NAPLES FLORIDA BEACH PHOTOGRAPHER...

Family beach sessions here in Naples, Florida are always such a treat because each night looks so incredibly different compared to the last. There is never a way to predict the final look of the night until you’re in the depth of it and can witness in person just how stunning it is. Add in a gorgeous family such as this one and you’ve got a match made in heaven. The laughs, the love, the colors they chose…everything just fits! On this particular evening we had a mix of somewhat gloomy skies and then an opening of a bright, vibrant, orange, sunset in the sky at the last minute. The four of them were so incredibly loving and so fun to work with. The siblings were like the best of friends and it echoed in everything they did. That’s hard to find at times. 🙂 As the orange began to pass below the horizon line, we got a burst of other brilliant colors up in the sky as well. Perfection! Little bro decided he wanted to reenact the Karate Kid scene on the wood pilings. He’s like my 5,678 client who can’t help but do that when they see these. Who can blame them??? Laughs were had by all and the sunset proved to be bountiful for sure. If you or your family are interested in a Naples Florida beach session, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to freeze these memories in time for you as...

Class of 2016 {Estero Florida Senior Photographer} Oct04

Class of 2016 {Estero Florida Senior Photographer}...

The heat has finally broken in SWFL and I’m quickly reminded why it is that we live here. If there was ever a time to schedule your senior portrait session, now is that time. As a photographer, the noticeable difference in heat is amazing! We live in a true tropical paradise so conducting senior shoots on location outdoors is such a blessing that many across the country do not get the luxury of offering. When you’re ready to begin planning your senior shoot, I’m here. We’ve got so many new and exciting things planned for this Fall and Winter season here at ASP. I can’t wait to share the details with each of you. 🙂 XOXO,...

BARRON COLLIER HIGH SCHOOL {NAPLES, FLORIDA SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHER} Sep14

BARRON COLLIER HIGH SCHOOL {NAPLES, FLORIDA SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHER}...

Many of you know that I shoot the images for the varsity football team at Barron Collier High School here in Naples, Florida. I began a few years back shooting for the freshman team, then moved to the junior varsity team, and now have the honor of shooting under the Friday night lights for the varsity boys. I started out with these boys and was a total “rookie” at sports photography when I began several years ago. I’m a portrait photographer so typically I specialize in people who are standing still (most of the time). Following a moving ball hidden amongst multiple players is a bit like cat and mouse. Being on the sidelines with the coaches and the boys proved to be a bit intimidating as well. However, the teams have made me feel right at home along side them and have welcomed me and my unexperienced self through the years. From day one though…I loved it. Even feeling inadequate in the sports photography world, it was a challenge for me that I truly formed a love/love relationship with. You could say that I’ve definitely learned a thing or two about football along the way and have to find a good sense of peace when out there with the boys now. I’d learned when and how to dodge that rush of players in order to save my life (and my camera gear!) as well as where to go to follow that ball and capture the most important part of the plays. Although this was a totally new genre for me, I think I’ve found a second home so to speak. 🙂 One of the most exciting parts is getting home, uploading the images, and seeing what moments were frozen in time. Like this shot for instance. When this kids head went missing… Yeap. And we wonder why football is considered so dangerous. lol! Thank goodness #10 was fine. #Trooper The agility of these boys never ceases to amaze me. Splits anyone??? And then this…this is worth every ounce of hard work for them, I’m sure of it. This is what winning looks like… Thanks for always bringing me along for the ride Cougars! I can’t wait to see what this season holds for you boys....

TAYLOR {FT. MYERS SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER} Aug31

TAYLOR {FT. MYERS SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER}...

Well…the 2015-16 senior season is off to a roaring start. We have seniors already booked into January of 2016 at this point. If you or someone you know is wanting to book senior portraits, now is your time. Our summer rains here in Southwest Florida will be dying down soon and it will also be cooling off some in the coming months. In a nutshell, we’ll have some great months ahead for senior portraiture. This year is going to creep right on past you. Don’t get caught at the midnight hour trying to gather all of the last minute necessities for your open house – that includes your images for your grad card invites and so forth. Lots to check off the to do list in the coming months. I saw this recently and thought of all my senior clients as well as their parents. Time is such a thief! It’s so very true! Have a wonderful year! XOXO,...

ALEXIS {NAPLES FT. MYERS FLORIDA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER}...

Talk about a doll. Meet little Alexis. What a sweet, adorable, tiny, peanut she was. And what an angel she was too! She never made a peep the entire session. She was a true pro and enjoyed every minute of the snoozing she was able to do during her time in the studio. I had worked with her Mommy and Daddy recently for their maternity session and they were just beaming (rightfully so!) when they brought her in for her big day with me. This is their first little one and they were on cloud nine the entire time. When I delivered their canvas, digitals, and print images to them this past week, Daddy told me that she’s still a perfect baby and is sleeping all the way through until like 7am. You can’t ask for better than that with a newborn. He was all smiles when showing me images of her from the day earlier on his phone. Proud proud daddy! And why wouldn’t he be??? Just look at her… Many people wonder or ask me if the props, knit caps, headbands, wraps, etc. that they see in my newborn images are mine or if they’re something the parents brought in. All of the props and accessories you see in my newborn imagery is mine and in our inventory at the studio. We have tons to choose from for little boys and girls. Part of my branding and style is created by the props and accessories I use. I pride myself on having a large enough collection for me to always have something different to use from each session to the next. I don’t want the babies having to use the same looks all the time. I want my images to be unique...

TARYN | NAPLES SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER Aug09

TARYN | NAPLES SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

I photograph a lot of Seniors who are not residents of Florida. In fact, I shoot just as many out of state seniors as I do in the state of Florida. Many come wanting to capture their senior year images on the beach – which I absolutely love. I always guarantee that your images that I shoot for you will NOT look like your buddies next to you in first period. I strive to capture the most genuine you during your session. Not only are you investing in my time when I show up to shoot your session but you’re investing in the experience that I give you as one of my clients. I promise that it will be an experience like no other. Like with Taryn’s session above, we have fun. I discuss details with you that help me get to know you well before our time together. By the time I meet you in person, I want to know what makes you tick, what you love and what you don’t. If you select the option of doing a beach session here in Southwest Florida, we make it count! We focus on not only the sand, sun, and salty sea air but mainly on you and what your life at this moment looks like. Taryn loves to play the guitar. In one of her “selflie” images I noticed of her on Instagram, I saw her guitars in the background of her shots. I asked her to bring one to her session. Talk about a way cool guitar.  Our beaches in sunny southwest Florida never disappoint. Therefore, they provide an UH-MAY-ZING backdrop for your senior imagery. Whether you choose the beach or a different location here in town for your sessions, I can assure you that your images will be unique and all your own. If you’re considering a senior session in the coming months, you know who to call. I’ll make sure you have an incredible experience in front of my lens. A memorable one at that! XOXO,...

LIZ – FT. MYERS FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER...

Liz was a joy to shoot with. Talk about photogenic. This girl was on point for our entire time together. And how about this gorgeous dress??? She’s a knock-out! No question. And that million dollar smile??? How can you not be mesmerized by it in itself? Your senior session should be fun. It should reflect you and not only what you looked like back then but also “who” you were at this chapter in your life. 2016 seniors…slots with ASP are booking fast for the 2015-2016 year. Don’t wait until it’s too late and our slots are all gone. Make your senior imagery a priority. Don’t leave this moment solely in the hands of your school yearbook...

MARCO ISLAND FAMILY BEACH PHOTOGRAPHER Jul09

MARCO ISLAND FAMILY BEACH PHOTOGRAPHER

I love working with the tourists who come to SWFL for their vacations. This sweet family is from Kansas and came to Marco Island for their vacation back in June. Talk about gorgeous! We had a beautiful evening for their shoot and because the Marriott hotel over on Marco is shut down for major renovations right now, we pretty much owned the beach. Mommy & daughter looked absolutely stunning and followed my advice completely regarding color tones. Talk about color pop. Wow! I loved it all! Talk about some sass right here…what a doll! She not only loves her Mommy but she also adores her Daddy. Watching her soar with his help was too fun. She loved every second of it. I caught a split second moment when he through her up in the air and although way out of focus and totally blurry…there was something so ethereal about it. I couldn’t bare to part with it and instead decided to leave it in their gallery. Not only did Mommy & daughter look awesome but Dad and son did too. Their little boys blue eyes were a force to be reckoned with out there next to that ocean water. And he happened to be really good at finding starfish too. 🙂 I love it when siblings go in for the love without having to be bribed… Talk about a great looking family… We even grabbed some images of just Mom and Dad together. Gorgeous couple! Daddy found a hermit crab on the beach and everyone wanted to see it except for their daughter. She didn’t want any part of it. What a beautiful night we had. Thank you to the “L” family for allowing me the opportunity to document this set of memories for them. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful family to photograph or a more beautiful night to...

ABBY { NAPLES FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER } Jun30

ABBY { NAPLES FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER }...

I met Abby for some senior portraits at the end of May.  Abby was a spitting image of a mix of Denise Richards and supermodel Nikki Taylor. To say she was gorgeous is an understatement. My favorite image is the close up of her because of how she handled that look: a simple, basic, natural stare and she pulled it off beautifully. I love shooting around our little slice of paradise in Naples, and Abby fit in perfectly with the beautiful background. Thank you, Abby for being so wonderful to work with! I hope to see you again...

GABI { CAPE CORAL SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER } Jun23

GABI { CAPE CORAL SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER }...

Gabi had a gorgeous smile that almost gleamed from ear to ear in every image. Actually, she had an incredibly gorgeous look overall, and her smile was just icing on the cake. This young woman had such style already, I wish I could have photographed her entire wardrobe. In this image, I actually used a purple flower off the tree behind her to add the purple haze or flare on the left side of the image. I held it up to my lens and photographed it in the foreground to give the image those purple tones. I love to incorporate tricks to make your senior images pop. My favorite image is the close up of her because it just shows these beautiful features. Thank you, Gabi for trusting me with these moments! I loved meeting...

REBECCA { FT MYERS MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY } Jun16

REBECCA { FT MYERS MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY }...

I have had the pleasure of working with Rebecca for her model shoots, and then again when we photographed her first maternity session, as well as the newborn images for their daughter, Camilla. Now, with her second baby on the way, I was so pleased to get the chance to see Rebecca and her family again! During Rebecca’s first maternity session, we shot down by the beach, so she wanted to do something a little bit different this time. We wanted a location with a little more foliage and less sand, and I think the images turned out so well! I especially liked the images of her alone, because they really showcase how gorgeous she is and how comfortable she feels in her own skin. I love that about her! Rebecca also wanted to do some updated family pictures before their second baby arrived, and I loved seeing them all together! Rebecca & Richard, thank you again for trusting me with your family moments and memories. I can’t believe how much Camilla has already grown, and I look forward to seeing your family expand and grow...

BRIANNA { MIAMI FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER } Jun09

BRIANNA { MIAMI FLORIDA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER }...

I met Brianna when she was graduating high school and I love how she brought the fierce look amid the colors of the background. Speaking of backgrounds – when shooting on location, I love urban grunge or any kind of urban vibe. What most would see as “run down or ugly” I see as perfection for shoots where you want to mix beauty with dirt. 🙂 I have locations in Naples, Ft. Myers, and Miami that are perfect for this kind of look! Contact me to learn more and schedule your senior session...

ISABELLA { NAPLES FL SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER } Jun02

ISABELLA { NAPLES FL SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER }

A few weeks ago, I met Isabella when she came in to model for a mentor workshop that I was teaching. What is a mentor workshop? Well, I love photography, and I really love sharing what I know with new photographers looking to learn more. Not only do we go over the basics of photography but also we talk about how to take that knowledge and turn it into a successful business. In three hours of class time, we squeeze in some learning about the shooting modes, exposure triangle, bells and whistles to your camera and lenses, and so on. Then, we bring in a live model and do a shoot right there, where we hone in on lighting, posing, and other things that come up during a live shoot. I’ve had great feedback about how rewarding it is, especially for the beginner photographers looking to take their skills to the next level. If you are interested in learning more, please visit my classes page. So, Isabella was our model, and I thought she did an amazing job. I particularly love the image of her with the ambient light from the store illuminating her from behind. Isabella is graduating high school this week, and I was so happy to capture her in this moment, before life changes for her! Isabella, thank you for letting us pose you all afternoon. Have a wonderful graduation, and keep in touch! I know you are going to do great...
