ALEXIS {NAPLES FT. MYERS FLORIDA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER}...

Talk about a doll. Meet little Alexis. What a sweet, adorable, tiny, peanut she was. And what an angel she was too! She never made a peep the entire session. She was a true pro and enjoyed every minute of the snoozing she was able to do during her time in the studio. I had worked with her Mommy and Daddy recently for their maternity session and they were just beaming (rightfully so!) when they brought her in for her big day with me. This is their first little one and they were on cloud nine the entire time. When I delivered their canvas, digitals, and print images to them this past week, Daddy told me that she’s still a perfect baby and is sleeping all the way through until like 7am. You can’t ask for better than that with a newborn. He was all smiles when showing me images of her from the day earlier on his phone. Proud proud daddy! And why wouldn’t he be??? Just look at her… Many people wonder or ask me if the props, knit caps, headbands, wraps, etc. that they see in my newborn images are mine or if they’re something the parents brought in. All of the props and accessories you see in my newborn imagery is mine and in our inventory at the studio. We have tons to choose from for little boys and girls. Part of my branding and style is created by the props and accessories I use. I pride myself on having a large enough collection for me to always have something different to use from each session to the next. I don’t want the babies having to use the same looks all the time. I want my images to be unique...

BABY BOY {NAPLES FLORIDA NEWBORN SESSION} Apr14

BABY BOY {NAPLES FLORIDA NEWBORN SESSION}...

Aldo & Catherine brought their handsome baby boy to my studio a few days after he was born in January. This wonderful new family is from Italy, but they spend part of the year living here in Naples.  I had first met Aldo and Catherine during Catherine’s maternity session, and I was looking forward to meeting their special guy. I love working with newborns, but I particularly loved this session because watching Aldo and Catherine with their first child was special for me. It brought back so many memories of the early days with my own first. I love this image of him bundled in blue again the blue rug. His skin coloring with the blue tones is gorgeous. Thank you Aldo and Catherine for trusting me with your maternity memories as well as these special early moments with your first child. There is no greater compliment than that for a photographer. On top of it all, you have already begun sending me referrals from friends/family and I cannot express how much that means to me! I can’t wait to capture the three of you in your family sessions as you all grow...

SWEET GIANNA NAPLES FLORIDA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

SWEET GIANNA {NAPLES FT. MYERS FLORIDA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER} WOW! Long time no hear from eh? Goodness…you can tell “season” hit right at the time of my last post back in September and then BOOM! I feel off the face of the earth. Whew! It’s now the end of December – almost January – and I’m sliding into home base as I type while finishing out my final few sessions of the 2014 year. This fall and winter kicked my heiney in regard to busy season but I’d rather be busy than not. I’m slowly but surely getting ready to catch my breath and take a quick breather for a week before the next round kicks in. In the meantime, how about this sweet baby girl??? Her Momma is just as beautiful and wanted some unique fall themed images to represent the time frame of her birth. She wore these colors well. After that, we switched it up a bit – a few times actually. No matter what I put on her or around her, her skin tone took to it like magic. For a newborn, she had stunning skin. We even pulled out all the stops – truly fit for a princess… I loved these light aquas and purples on her as well… Mommy requested our moon set up during her shoot too… You never have to want for awesome props during your newborn session if you book with Angie Seaman Photography. We have an amazing collection. Thank you for being such a good baby Gianna. You’re such a beautiful girl!...

NAPLES FLORIDA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

This little guy was such a rock star during his session. He was born premature – came out a fighter – proving how tough he really is. By the time he graced my studio, he was four weeks old. And let me just say…he put most of the newborns to shame with how well he did considering his age.Typically we like to see newborns at 10 days and younger in the studio for their session. However, there are times when exceptions are obvious and just make more sense. He gave me great smiles and slept throughout his entire session. We had a few whimpers from him here and there but nothing that lasted long enough to cause him to wake again. His skin tone and complexion was absolutely perfect for this yellow, gray and turquoise set I had recently gotten in as a new prop collection. Most people don’t realize that everything they see our newborns photographed in is ours at the studio. We do NOT have parents bring the props. We make sure to keep a huge collection that is constantly being updated so that you new little one has a fresh shoot with props that make their images unique to them. During my newborn shoots I sometimes like to shoot both natural light as well as studio light. With his session, we did just that. Both. By doing so, we got a ton of great looks and a variety of options for Mom and Dad to choose from when it came time to select their imagery. I absolutely love newborn photography. There are so many different set ups to use when photographing these sweet littles. I love creating the sets and the environment that will make your son or daughters shoot a memorable one for you for many years to come. 🙂 If you reside in Naples, Ft. Myers, Bonita Spring, Estero, Cape Coral, Miami, or Sanibel Island and need a newborn photographer, you know who to call. I’d be honored to capture and document your new little ones first moments here on this earth. XOXO,...

Introducing our lil’ Stassi Rae {Naples Florida Newborn Photographer} May14

Introducing our lil’ Stassi Rae {Naples Florida Newborn Photographer}...

She’s arrived. That’s right…I’ve been MIA for a very awesome reason. Our little Stassi Rae arrived on the morning of April 4, 2014 at 7:49am via c-section as planned. She weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 4 ozs. and was 19 inches long. Ironically, I was already contracting when we arrived at the hospital that morning so she was on her way very soon whether we were ready or not. Her name is pronounced “Stah-see” like when you’re at the doctor and you saw “aahhhhhh” with your mouth wide open. Stahhhhh-see. lol!  We’ll spend forever correcting people when it comes to how they pronounce it but we’re used to that with our other children’s names anyway so bring it on. 🙂 For those who I’ve had the honor of working with during my last nine months while pregnant, we might have discussed my over abundance of heart burn during her stay in the womb. I said all along that she had best come out with a head full of hair given the torture she put me through with all of that painful heartburn. Needless to say…she obeyed her Mama and came out with a ton of it. She’s a good girl. 🙂 My c-section was just as I knew it to be given that I’ve had three previous ones before this one. However, with that said, this c-section took its toll of me for sure. My recovery was longer, much harder, and definitely slowed me down way more than I’m normally used to. The first month was rough – real rough. But as we approach 6 weeks postpartum this Friday, things are looking up and I’m feeling much, much better. I have a TON and I do mean a TON of new props for not only her arrival but also for the arrival of all my up and coming newborn clients. I purchased a boat load of things for her that are “girl” related but some of the props we ordered are also for gender neutral shoots such as the adorable moon prop above. I have so many items I never got to use with her as originally planned because of how tough the c-section recovery was for me. So…in a nutshell…Angie Seaman Photography has some FAB new items for all of our newborn clients coming in within the next several months. YAY! ^^^Our sweet ‘little’ at Easter (shown above in her bunny suit)^^^ I’m just came back from maternity leave after having 5.5 weeks off. We’re booking sessions on location and in studio again as normal. Our summer is filling up quickly with lots of tourists coming into town for Summer vacation with their families. We love meeting new peeps and cannot wait to work with each of you while capturing these amazing memories for you. I’ll be heading back up North to Indiana at the very end of June and into the first week of July to do some mentor classes for up and coming photographers there as well as to shoot for my loyal clients while in town again. Most importantly, I’ll be soaking up time with my own friends and family in “Hoosier land” while there. Aside from that time frame, I’ll be in town here in Naples and shooting in Southwest Florida as usual. If you’re headed this way and want a family, Senior, or model shoot…you know how to find me. Those of you whom are local and want to set up a session for your family, newborn, Senior, children, or for one of our corporate shoots, don’t hesitate to call me to schedule your time and date. Nothing good lasts forever…that means our times and dates are limited. 🙂 ^^^Who says the color blue is only for boys???  I beg to differ. Highly disagree.^^^ For now, I’ll leave you with a couple of images of my two youngest – two of...

NEWBORN MATERNITY LEAVE {NAPLES FLORIDA FT. MYERS SANIBEL ISLAND NEWBORN & MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER} Feb02

NEWBORN MATERNITY LEAVE {NAPLES FLORIDA FT. MYERS SANIBEL ISLAND NEWBORN & MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER}...

NEWBORN MATERNITY LEAVE {NAPLES FLORIDA FT. MYERS SANIBEL ISLAND NEWBORN & MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER} We’re getting close! Many of my clients have been asking recently when I’ll be taking my maternity leave for our fourth child whom is due April 4th. I technically have eight weeks to go before our scheduled c-section on 4/4/14 should she hold off that long for us. Therefore, my goal is to work all the way up through March 31st. After that, I’ll be taking off on maternity leave beginning April 1st and will be away through May 1st, 2014. I’m taking session bookings all the way up until that March 31st date. This includes all genres of shoots (seniors, models, newborns, families, children, corporate and commercial). If you know that you’re wanting a session prior to my maternity leave, now is a good time to book your date and get it on your calendar.  During my time away (April 1st – May 1st), I have many talented photography peers in the SWFL area and would be more than happy to refer new clients to those peers should you need a slot within the time frame that I’m off.     For now, I plan to soak up every shoot with each of my clients over this next eight weeks here in Naples, Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs and Marco Island until I can’t possible roll, breathe, or simply click that shutter any longer due to this belly I’m packing. 🙂 So far so good and I even had someone mention recently that I’m still smiling at this point. lol! I’m tired but other than that, I’m still able to keep trucking along and shooting for all of my incredibly awesome clients. Being a newborn photographer is just...
