CAPTURING FAMILY Naples Photographer
CAPTURING FAMILY
I absolutely loved shooting with this family! I love capturing family images because I know that they’ll be treasured far into the future by many individuals – not just the ones featured in the shot.
They were such a fun bunch and we had an incredibly beautiful night for their session.
This was an extended family from the East coast who was in town for vacation together. We shot the session on the North end of Marco Island which is always a beautiful area. I loved how the colors of their wardrobe went so perfectly against the sunset that evening.
The entire family was such a happy bunch and their smiles all confirm that. I laughed and laughed while working with them. I love leaving a session when my jaws ache from the smiles and the laughter
Each extension of their immediate family went with the flow and were complete naturals in front of the camera. The adult siblings actually purchased this session for their mother as a Christmas gift. What a thoughtful gift to give! It’s the gift that will keep on giving for years and years to come. Generation after generation can enjoy and treasure these images. Many times we stress about what to give a loved one for a holiday gift, birthday celebration, or even something as simple as a Valentine’s Day gift idea. A portrait session will always be a great idea in regard to ranking up there with the best gifts ever. Women may initially stress about having a session done but in the end, the final result will be a gift that means the world to them. Same with men. Men may not always consider a portrait session an event that they want to partake in. However, husbands, dads, grandfathers, etc. will always hold the final images close to their heart as priceless pieces of art.
Family imagery doesn’t always have to be posed and stoic either. I like to have fun with my families during their shoots. Take this shot for instance. We did a normal shot…
Then we turned the “crazy” up a wee bit… 🙂
I don’t believe in stuffy portrait sessions where everyone is miserable. It’s my job as your photographer to make this a fun and enjoyable event for all involved. There is a reason why Angie Seaman Photography is in high demand amongst even the most discerning of clients.
Look at that sunset…
The children in this family brought tears to my eyes at the end of the night. Rarely do I ever see kids – especially teens – stop everything they’re doing to watch a sunset. They might get their cell phones out to take a picture or something but that’s about the gist of it. These cousins however, all ended up on the shoreline watching this magnificient glow disappear into the deep blue waters of the sea. I had already put my camera and lenses away but when I witnessed this playing out, I knew I had to document the moment. That THIS happened…
God was definitely showing off his amazing artistry on this particular evening.
